Local training providers in Sanma Province have attended a workshop held by the Vanuatu National Training Council (VNTC) and the AusAID funded Vanuatu TVET Sector Support Program on meeting VNTC requirements for registration and accreditation held at the Sanma Women’s Resource Centre in Luganville.
The one week workshop which was officially opened by the Luganville Municipal Council deputy Lord Mayor Mr Kalmet Kalmos gathered together participants from different Rural Training Centre’s in Sanma province as well as other local training providers.
The main objectives of the workshop were to provide a quality training framework for developing and delivering training and assessment and also to have participants ready to develop to meet Vanuatu National Training Centre’s registration requirements.
According to the Chief Executive Officer of VNTC, Mr David Lambukly, similar workshops have been organized in six provincial locations with the assistance of the Vanuatu Rural Development Training Centre’s Association (VRDTCA).
Facilitators of the workshop included Mr Lambukly, the Accreditation and Registration Officer from VNTC Sam Samuel and Jimmy Tom from VRDTCA.
