The Vanuatu TVET Centres can support:


Training providers seeking funding to deliver courses that will result in improved income or employment levels of trainees, or seeking registration with the VQA.

Communities, businesses, productive sector groups seeking training to improve their productivity levels in Sanma, Malampa, Torba and Tafea provinces.

Entrepreneurs and small business operators seeking business development advice to start up or improve their businesses in Sanma, Malampa, Torba and Tafea provinces.

TVET Centre Services include:

  • Accredited Trainings – Demand-driven short courses accredited by the Vanuatu Qualifications Authority (VQA) specifically linked to an employment outcome or livelihood activity. Trainings are delivered by registered local training providers in provincial workplace settings, and financed through the Employment and Training Fund (ETF).
  • Business Development Services – Advisory and coaching services to assist existing and start-up businesses and cooperatives with business planning, establishment and management.
  • Training Provider Support Services – Services to assist local training providers to access the ETF and to become registered with the VQA. Support the development and delivery of accredited short courses by local training providers that are targeted to provincial economic development priorities.
  • IT Services – Provision of computer, printing, fax, photocopying and internet access services for individuals and groups contemplating or engaged in business, job-seeking and/or community development activity.
