Prominent tailors in Luganville, Santo are putting their skill set into the response and rehabilitation programs by sewing for the victims of Tropical Cyclone Harold.

Under the guidance and coordination of the locally-led initiative, the Vanuatu Skills Partnership, within the Ministry of Education and Training, the group of female tailors were grouped at the Sanma Skills Centre and create bedsheets, pillow cases and children’s wear which are to be distributed to the families who were badly affected.

The tailors are participants or clients of sewing and business trainings which were coordinated by VSP, in the past years.
