An exhibition to showcase unique sets of locally made handicrafts from TORBA, SANMA and MALAMPA provinces was premiered this week on June 10th to 11th at the Alliance Française Espace Culturel.
The Vanuatu Handicraft Exhibition and Sales was set-up to advertise and promote the traditional handiwork and creativity, wonderfully made by a group of talented people from the different provinces in Vanuatu.
At this stage, the Vanuatu Skills Partnership & the Department of Industry are supporting the resilience of local handicraft producers from outer islands.
The exhibition features the amazing creations of the SANMA province hat weavers and Vanuatu Made, TORBA Handicraft Cooperative and the Malampa Handicraft Centre.
